Get your Mojo workin'.
I just watched the complete, unedited film of Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech, the focal moment we celebrate today. And I am reminded, that, before the 60's were over, three prominent martyrs would die from assassin's bullets: first in Dallas, Texas, then in Los Angeles, California, and finally Dr. King himself on a balcony in Memphis, Tennessee. And I'm reminded of a song Bob Marley sang in 1980: "...How long shall they kill our prophets,While we stand aside and look? ...Won't you help to singThese songs of freedom?'Cause all I ever have:Redemption songs,Redemption songs ..."I heard one exceptional oration of freedom, equality and redemption this evening.
